Play Fast & DIY: Announcing DIY Conspiracy Mixtape Vol.6!

Vol.6 of DIY Conspiracy's monthly compilation tape comes back with 20 brain-frying tracks crammed around the sound of crust, d-beat, powerviolence and grind.

Hell-come to DIY Conspiracy compilation tape Vol.6! 🗡️🩸

In releasing a new cassette tape every month, we’ve undertaken a journey to challenge the way we consume music nowadays. We want to highlight the amazing work and international spirit of solidarity that’s ever present within our scene. In the six months of 2021, we’ve released tracks by 93 bands from all over the world as well as collaborating with great graphic artists & illustrators from the DIY punk scene!

In a time where every other webzine curates Spotify playlists, we want to take things into our hands by releasing stuff on the good old-fashioned tape format. We’re absolutely amazed and grateful for the success of this project as all tapes—except for the last remaining copies of Vol.5 still available to order—are now completely sold out! The money from all these releases go to cover our expenses of running this webzine for more than 15 years.

Thank you all for the support and don’t forget to send us pictures—those of you who collect all 12 tapes by the end of the year! It’s also important to stress out that all the bands we write about (as well as feature in our compilations) stand in solidarity with the marginalized, the persecuted, and the oppressed. End racism. End police brutality. Fuck intolerance. Punk is about looking after each other and fight all tyrants, oppressors, and bigots to the very end.
