To Kill announced farewell shows in Italy

To Kill

The amazing vegan straightedge hardcore band TO KILL from Italy has been on hiatus since 2010 when their singer Giacomo “Josh” Giorgi joined the Sea Shepherd crew to protect the whales and other marine wildlife from greedy poachers and abusers. Four years later To Kill are performing back again for two shows in Italy that will be their officially farewell shows.

[su_quote cite=”xJoshx”]Dear Euro friends, 4 years ago we decide TO KILL was not going to live for much longer.

As soon as that decision was made I started to volunteer on board the Sea Shepherd ships. My decision was very sudden and that was also one of the main reasons why a last tour never took place. For over 4 years I haven’t had the chance to hang out to any of the people I was used to see so often cause of the band (or cause we live in a small continent where travelling could be quite cheap).

On April 25th and 26th TO KILL will play what will be the word end to that fantastic adventure that changed our life in so many ways, and for so many years also thank to you. The shows will be in Ravenna and Rome. If any of you would like to come to Italy on that week end, it will be a great chance to hang out. I barely come to Europe and when I do I usually spend my time there with my family so if we haven’t seen each other for over 4 years, it is very likely that we are not going to hang out for a while longer. Therefore if you manage to come to the shows it would be one of those awesome things someone would just call “the magic of hardcore!”

I know 4 years are a lot and a lot happened (weddings, babies, jobs, selling out, thinking that Kylie Minogue is better than Minor Threat), but I know it would be pretty rad to hang out together once more, eat pasta and pizza and be part of a To Kill show together one last time.

I hope to see you there.

I’m not afraid today. I won’t be afraid tomorrow.[/su_quote]
