Time for a good old hardcore punk review! These are two bands that we have already covered before, so we’ll keep it short this time.

We’re talking about the new Myteri (Sweden) and Procrastinate (Greece) split record. Both amazing bands and great friends! This is one of my latest LP acquisitions and an amazing combined effort release by some of our favorite records out there, and I am truly delighted to put this beautiful colored piece of plastic on my player.

Starting with the outsides—the sleeve of the record is a piece of lovely artwork by Alex CF. If you like neo-crust, you know who the guy is! You can get limited colored (I believe these are sold out by now, but maybe aim to the bands or Alerta Antifascista and you may get lucky?!) or standard black 180-gram silkscreened on the B-Side vinyl, gatefold cover, LP-sized insert, double-LP-sized 4C poster… all that jazz.  Beautiful in every way.

Three tracks by Procrastinate and two tracks by Myteri. Consistent and precisely executed, aggressive dark crust punk with lots of screaming delivering a powerful message.

I won’t get into much details describing each track to you—don’t be lazy and check this out for yourself. I am really happy with the direction Procrastinate have taken after their first record, and Myteri’s part is just as pleasing and powerful.

If you’re into present-day crust punk style—you’ll love it. Go support the bands and the labels by buying this, or even better—catch them live when they tour near you. What more can I say?
