Arctic Flowers release their new LP “Weaver”

Portland's post-punk band reveals a new album

Portland’s Arctic Flowers is definitely one of the finest punk bands I’ve heard in a long time. Their sound is a mix of punk, death-rock, post-punk, and goth, influenced equally by 80’s peace-punk and post-punk music of bands ranging from The Mob, Rudimentary Peni, Rubella Ballet to Joy Division, Killing Joke, and many more. Their new LP “Weaver” is a continuation of their great releases “Reveries” LP and “Procession” EP, it’s angry, thoughtful, dark, danceable and melodic, and probably will stand out as one of the best punk releases in 2014.
